How these figures are kept

Every figure is matched word for word against its GOV.UK passage, and the date of the last full check is shown at the top of the page. The check is repeated each month.

Fees, the health surcharge and the Immigration Skills Charge change by regulations without a Statement of Changes, so the monthly check is what catches them. Their start dates are not verified, so each shows “Start date not verified”, and Since does not track changes to them.

Register counts are a dated snapshot of the register file, counted by organisation. A figure with no verified start date is never given one.
